A colorless liquid, Ethylene Glycol Dibutyl Ether has a characteristic odor and it has good reaction ability with strong oxidants. Due to this nature, it is believed to form explosive peroxides. It has poor solubility in water and it should be stored away from strong oxidants. Further, the entire floor should be well-ventilated. Although, we take extreme care in manufacture, export, storage and transportation of this product, still if spillage / leakage occurs at client's end then it should be collected in sealable containers. The remaining residue should be cleaned with lots of water. In case of short-term exposure to this liquid, there are chances that it will cause slight irritation to the skin and eyes.
